Sat16 May02:30 PM – 04:15 PMBetzabel FalfanThis workshop offers children a space to explore imagination through theatre, masks, and movement. Rather than focusing on performance, the emphasis is on experience: sensing, expressing, and discovering new ways of being.
Through guided improvisation and playful exploration, children learn to connect with their bodies, their emotions, and others, developing confidence while staying grounded in curiosity and play.
The use of masks and improvisation creates a unique environment where children can safely step into different roles and perspectives. Combined with body awareness practices and elements from the Brighter Minds approach, the work supports both expression and inner perception.
Movement becomes a way to think, feel, and communicate, not just something to perform.

The workshop combines theatre, masks, movement, and Brighter Minds elements in a way that emphasizes experience rather than performance. Children are invited to sense, express, imagine, and discover new ways of being.
It is for children who enjoy imagination, play, and storytelling, are curious about theatre, movement, or expression, or may benefit from building confidence and emotional awareness. No prior experience is needed.
Children can develop imagination and creativity, improve emotional and bodily awareness, strengthen communication and collaboration, and build confidence in expression while enjoying a playful group experience.
We work with movement and body awareness, theatre improvisation, role play, mask work, and Brighter Minds elements such as listening, breathing, emotional awareness, and blindfold-based sensory activities.
Sessions move through structured games, body awareness, improvisation, role play, and sensory exploration, alternating between individual discovery and group interaction. There is space both for expression and for observation.
Children receive a safe and creative learning environment, guided theatre and movement explorations, tools for emotional and bodily awareness, and a collective experience rooted in play and discovery.
