The event

Immerse yourself in the world of traditional Indian dance and song, and share in the magic for an evening.

Bharata Natyam developed in South India, particularly in the Tamil Nadu region, while Odissi originated in Odisha.

Inspired by the sculptures of Indian temples, the classical Odissi dance is distinguished by its undulating movements of the torso and the subtlety of its expressions. Bharata Natyam captivates with the beauty of its geometric movements.

These dances, imbued with poetry, combine grace (Lasya) and power (Tandava).

As well as Carnatic chanting, traditional music of South India.
